Classis de las Naciones
The Classis de las Naciones (Classis of the Nations) is an affiliation of congregations in the Mid-Americas. We are member churches of the Reformed Church in America (RCA), a historic Christian denomination belonging to the worldwide family of Reformed and Presbyterian Churches.
The Reformed Church in America is one of North America's oldest continuous protestant denominations, and our shared task is to equip congregations for ministry. Learn more about the RCA and its history.
Update from The Classis Executive Team
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In Psalm 46:1, we are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a constant source of help in times of trouble. Recently, we faced the sudden and devastating loss of our beloved brother, the Rev. Chad Farrand. As we navigate through our grief, we take solace in Psalm 116:15, which tells us, "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Yet, the absence of Chad leaves a profound ache in our hearts.
Rev. Farrand's legacy is powerful, shaped by his unwavering faith and calling to preach the Gospel and make disciples. This mission is the foundation of our work in the Classis de las Naciones. Now, more than ever, we are passionately committed to ensuring this vision remains our foremost priority. Together, we will continue advancing God's work, empowering the next generation of leaders locally and globally.
We have an extraordinary mission ahead of us and must not pause or falter. Our Executive Team is fully dedicated to serving you and ensuring we fulfill God's calling.
